For Elizabeth Ricci, floristry has always been more than flowers—it’s a language, a craft, and a way of seeing the world. Growing up in a European family where nature’s bounty was central to daily life, her earliest memories are rooted in the garden—nurturing plants, harvesting fruits, and transforming spaces with flowers. What began as a childhood passion evolved into a lifelong pursuit of creativity, storytelling, and industry innovation.
With over 30 years as a florist, business owner, and visual storyteller, Elizabeth has navigated the ever-changing landscape of floristry, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques. Through her Melbourne-based floral businesses, Flower Temple and Melbourne Flower Merchant, she has cultivated a reputation for immersive, sensory-driven floral experiences—where colour, fragrance, and design come together in a theatrical and educational journey.
But Elizabeth saw a gap—an urgent need for floristry to evolve beyond conventional training. FloristBank was born from a drive to reshape how florists connect with their craft, industry, and future.
